FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NetPub and Docnet, Inc., Announce Digital Print Collaboration
NEW YORK, JAN 1ST, 2002 - NetPub, a known leader in the Printing
and Publishing industry will provide digital print on demand services to DocNet, Inc.
Under the agreement, NetPub will provide DocNet with access to its Digital Output
Source, for DocNet’s hardcopy fulfillment service.
About DocNet, Inc.
DocNet provides content providers with a hardcopy fulfillment service that enables
content consumers to obtain high quality, reasonably priced, print versions of online
content. Online end users merely "push a button" on the content provider’s site to
engage a comprehensive service which includes order placement, credit card
authorization, production and the next-day delivery of documents. In addition to
hardcopy fulfillment, DocNet also provides an encryption (DRM) feature, protecting
downloaded content from unauthorized distribution. The DocNet service allows content
owners to economically transform digital content into printed, bound and delivered
documents in order quantities as low as one! This cost efficient process means that
content owners can expand their offerings beyond existing high-demand, pre-printed
publications, to include any customized compilation of electronically available
content.
DocNet, Inc. President, James C. McDonald stated; "We are delighted to be working
with NetPub. Our service is a perfect match to their Digital Output Source system."
